Genevieve Lalonde Breaks 3000mSC Canadian Record (Again)!

This Saturday, May 18th 2019 at the IAAF Diamond Leage in Shanghai, China, Geneviève Lalonde faced off against fifteen of the world's most elite athletes in the 3000m steeplachase.   Genevieve Lalonde will once again compete in a IAAF Diamond League 3000m SC event, which will take place in Shanghai this Saturday at 9:30 am AST. She will most certainly hold her ground alongside 15 other women; who collectively are considered the best in this discipline.       ASEA Spring Open - Highlights This weekend saw numerous notable performances at the annual ASEA Spring Open, which took place on Saturday, May 11th at the Moncton 2010 Stadium. Over the years this meet has proved to be a great season opener for plenty of track and field athletes in Moncton, as well as many other Atlantic track clubs. Carl Cummings Participation at the Master Trainer Event in Winnipeg

 Athlete of the Month

Athlete of the Month (March 2019): Geneviève Lalonde. On March 30th, Geneviève Lalonde represented Team Canada at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships in Aarhus, Denmark. Not only was the the top Canadian from start to finish, Geneviève ran the entire race in the top 25, finishing in 20th place among a strong group of women. This is the best finish by a Canadian woman since 2004 at the IAAF World Cross Country Championships.
