New Brunswick Youth Cross Country Series

Athletics New Brunswick is excited to announce the creation of the New Brunswick Youth Cross Country Series. This series is modeled after the indoor and outdoor Run Jump Throw Wheel Series but will focus solely on cross country events for elementary and middle school level athletes. MacPherson makes top 10

Sarah MacPherson snagged a top 10 finish at the 2017 Summer Universiade (FISU) Athletics championship in Taipei, Taiwan. Competing with Team Canada, the athlete of Fredericton , New Brunswick, finished in 10th in the 1500 meters in a time of 4:22.77. Newly Crowned Maritime Track League Winners

The 3rd annual Maritime Track League concluded this year in Nova Scotia as Stellarton played host to the Atlantic Championships. This year there were a total of 9 events that served as eligible competitions for the series.  Athlete scores are the sum of the three best performances they have over the course of the eligible meets.  Athlete of the Month

Athlete of the Month (August 2017): Veronica Coombes. At the Canada Summer Games Veronica amassed an amazing all 3 of the teams gold medals. Winning the 400m and 1500m on the same day with time of 1:16.73 and 5:39.35 respectively then came back on the next day to win the 200m in a time of 38.49s.
