| Atlantic Championship wrap up Aug 18 2010 This past weekend was the Atlantic Outdoor championship in Charlestown, PEI. Team New Brunswick dominated the provinces competition. With 1527 points New Brunswick finished 1st, 2nd was PEI with 423 points, Newfoundland was 3rd with 237 points and 4th was Nova Scotia with 231.
In the club competition, for the first time in there was a tie for first place. Therefore with 475 points both Saint John Track (SJT) and Athlétisme Sud-Est / South East Athletics (ASEA) are both we have duel Atlantic Championa.  ... >> more |
| 5 Medals at Legion Championship Aug 8 2010 Ottawa: 2010 Legion Championship:
With 5 medals and 10 provincial records (not to mention over 30 personal best) . Team New Brunswick had a very successful Legion Canadian Youth Track and Field Championships.
Here are some of the highlights
Team New Brunswick in the U16 boys 4x100m finish 3rd in a time of 47.52. Team members were Julien Leger , Matthew Mclaughlin , Seth Hajdu amd Alex Guest . Ontario won with a time of 43.87 and Brittish Columbia was second with 47.39 (only 0.13 a head of NB) .... >> more |
