It's time to start preparing for the 2009 Jeux du Canada Games to be held in Prince Edward Island.
If you are an athlete considering a place on Team New Brunswick, Head Coach Peter Stuart has posted the team selection criteria, standards, and the initial training team lists. This information and future updates will be posted in ANB's Canada Summer Games Program Section.

ANB Seeking Applications for 2008-2009 Manager and Coaching Positions
Athletics NB is still inviting applications as very few applications have been received to date:
From coaches with Level Two or equivalent and willing to upgrade to Level Three, where necessary, for the following teams:
Head coach and team coaches for the 2008 Royal Canadian Legion Championships and Camp to be held in Sherbrooke, Quebec taking place August 6th to 12th.
Team coaches for the 2009 Jeux Canada Games to be held in Charlottetown PEI from August 22nd to 29th and competitions leading up to this event.
From potential managers for the positions (2) of team manger for the 2009 Jeux Canada Games to be held in Charlottetown PEI from August 22nd to 29th and competitions leading up to this event .

Allyson Howatt Lowers 200m Provincial Record Again
For the second time in two weeks, Allyson Howatt of Fredericton has lowered the Senior Women's 200m Indoor Record. On January 26th, at the Terrier Invitational Meet In Boston Allyson lowered her own provincial record from 25.42 seconds to 25.32 seconds. This past weekend, at Boston University's Valentine Invitation she lowered the provincial record to 25.06 seconds, establishing a new school record in the process. Allyson is in her sophomore year and competes for the University of Maine Black Bears. This weekend's performance qualifies her for the Eastern College Athletic Conference Championships (ECAC). to be held in Boston on March 8-9.
