- Captain and centre of the Saint John Trojans basketball team in 1920
- Held a Maritime shot put record (1924-28) that stood for 29 years
- Won Canadian shot put championships in 1924, '27 and '31
- Won eight medals in national track and field competitions
- Received Basketball Service Award in 1986
- Inducted into the New Brunswick Sports Hall of Fame in 1973 and 1978 (Saint John Trojans)
